As a resource for communities and local municipalities, Capital Streets focuses on improving the region’s transportation network by creating more attractive, connected, and usable neighborhood streets for all, from growing families to aging residents, and everyone in between. 

We are working to reverse decades of car-centered development that gutted our cities’ public spaces and to help rebuild a transportation system that is more connected, more usable, and more enjoyable for everyone who lives in or visits the Capital Region.
