CAPITAL STREETS 3-YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY!

On Thursday, April 2, 2026 we gathered at Lark Hall to celebrate 3 years of the work we are doing together to rebuild a more dynamic and walkable transportation system that makes life more enjoyable for everyone who lives in or visits the Capital Region.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate three years of coalition building & complete streets advocacy with us, and who continues to support our efforts. Your support of Capital Streets helps create communities that are walkable, bike-friendly, transit-oriented, and safer for everyone in the region. You make change happen — through grassroots action and advocacy, we are building a true movement in the Capital Region made up of people who believe our streets should work for everyone.

Want to learn more about why your support matters and how you can help continue to contribute to Capital Streets’ efforts? Check out our ‘Support’ page.

THANK YOU TO OUR 2026 SPONSORS

2026 CAPITAL STREETS AWARD WINNERS

ADVOCATE OF THE YEAR (2026)
ERICA SCHNEIDER

For years, Erica has gone above and beyond to make Albany's streets better, safer, and more vibrant for all.

Her work helping to organize Albany's World Day of Remembrance, pushing for better legislation on the state and local levels, organizing Albany Social Cycling rides, and volunteering at several events has had a clear impact on our community.

Her inclusive and positive attitude, paired with determination and dedication, has made Erica a clear leader in Albany's advocacy effort for better streets — someone for all in our community to look up to.

COMMUNITY PARTNER OF THE YEAR (2026)
YESFOLK TONICS*

Owners Yiyi and Adam have built an incredibly special space for the Capital Region community at their Troy-based kombucheria, Yesfolk Tonics.

In addition to producing world-class beverages, curating a gorgeous vibe, and organizing their own community-focused events, Yesfolk has become a clear hub for the broader community.

They've opened their doors for countless occasions focused on health, justice, and community building, including several events organized by Capital Streets, Troy Bike Rescue, and Troy Social Cycling
